APEX Regulator & Cylinder End for the HW100/HW101 With Standard Regulator Delete

APEX Regulator & Cylinder End for the HW100 & HW101 With Standard Regulator Delete allows The APEX Regulator to take over from the standard regulator. The standard HW100 regulator can suffer with shifting output pressure over the fill, a drawback of the ‘soft seal’ design. The APEX Regulator also allows filling of the cylinder to 250bar with no pressure output change, to increase shot count by around 50% over the standard 200bar fill. For example, if you achieve 60 shots from 200-100bar, filling to 250 bar will give approximately 90 shots down to 100bar.

The APEX Regulator & Replacement Cylinder End replaces the standard valve unit in the end of the cylinder, fitting between the cylinder body and action block. This minimises any fill volume decrease to give maximum shots per fill. Fitting these parts removes the valve in the end of the HW100 cylinder, meaning the air will drain down through the regulator until empty if the cylinder is removed from the rifle while it is pressurised.

You will not be able to fill the APEX Regulated cylinder assembly off the rifle as the air will pass through the regulator and out the hole at the back. Screwing the tube assembly into the block seals to the HW100 using the oring that is visible on the brass regulator inlet you can see in the HW100 block when the cylinder is removed from the rifle. A spare seal for this part is included in the seal kit for you to replace when installing the APEX Regulator & Replacement Cylinder End.

Disabling the standard HW100 Regulator

To disable the standard HW100 regulator, the ball and spring need to be removed from the primary valve, this prevents the standard regulator working, relying on the APEX Regulator instead of the standard. You may need to adjust your hammer settings to allow your rifle to work at it’s most efficient with the APEX Regulator installed.

The APEX Regulator is tailored to working pressure of your standard HW100 regulator to achieve the desired output. This is set according to the barrel length, power output and calibre of your rifle which you will need to select from the options below. If you would like a particular pressure set please state it in the box below and this will overwrite our settings with your desired pressure set.
