Air Arms S410 Tuning APEX Regulator Upgrade
Performance, engineered.
Looking for more shots per fill and more accuracy from your Air Arms S410? Unlock your rifles performance with the APEX AIRGUNS regulator kits. Our aim is to make airgun tuning as easy as possible for you, so your rifle can be the best it can be.
Your APEX Regulator will come pre-set, tailored to your rifle, once installed following our guides you can expect significantly improved shot count and consistency. With high-resolution settings, if needed you can fine-tune the regulator output easily and reliably ensuring superb stability and long-term performance.
Key Features of the APEX Regulator
- Overlocking Piston Design: The regulator design removes opposing forces when the regulator is closed, quickly sealing and stopping fill pressure influencing the output.
- Contamination Protection: The regulator adjuster-to-piston sealing face is protected from contamination to prevent regulator creep.
- 1 Moving Part: On firing, only the piston moves to minimise mechanical changes influencing the output pressure.
- Hard Seal Design: The hard seal design is not influenced by fill pressure, age or temperature, giving stability in every situation.
- Adjustable Pressure: Fully adjustable, maintaining stable output pressure for consistent pellet speed and accuracy.
- Extended Service Life: Increased O-ring sections for longer service intervals and greater reliability.
- Easy Pressure Settings: Quick pressure adjustments with body case markings and clear instructions.
- Pre-set and Tested: Before shipping every regulator is fully assembled, tested and pressure set to your rifle.
What's Included with the APEX Regulator?

Ordering Information
Select the correct calibre, barrel length, and desired output in FT/LBS from the options. For specific output pressure requests, please provide details in the box provided. Note: For FAC models, output above 130/140bar is not recommended as it may reduce shot count and power due to the limitations of the rifle mechanics.
Measuring Barrel Length
To measure, remove the shroud or silencer from your Air Arms S410 if it has one fitted. Measure from the barrel's muzzle to the front edge of the magazine port opening. Common lengths are:
- Carbine - 395mm
- Rifle - 493.5mm
If your barrel length differs by more than 30mm from any of these, you may need to alter your regulator pressure for optimum results.

Installation Guide
Refer to the PDF installation guides and videos for detailed fitting instructions. The regulator arrives pre-set based on your rifle’s calibre, barrel length, and desired power output. Ensure you check the rifle’s output power post-installation to comply with legal limits.
Air Arms APEX Regulator Installation
To further optimise your performance, you may want to add the below to your order to help you tune your rifle, there is a brief description how each part enhances your rifle.
Air Arms S410 Lightweight hammer to decrease lock time
The standard hammer (P/N: S420) is designed to work with an unregulated valve, the lightweight hammer works with the regulator to further improve the firing cycle feel and reduce power difference between pellets.
Air Arms Cylinder Pre- drilled for APEX regulator Installation
Worried about drilling your cylinder to install the APEX Regulator? We can provide a new pre-drilled cylinder for you! Have a look on our other pages for more information or search "Air Arms Cylinder" in the search bar.
3.5mm drill bit
For drilling the transfer port, barrel and breech block to open up air flow and increase efficiency in the rifle. Doing this will require further specialist tools to clean up the drilled paths. This is not required in a sub 12 build following our installation instructions, but can be done to gain even more shots if desired.
Replacement Shortened Hammer Spring & shims
A replacement hammer spring to work with an APEX Regulator in your Air Arms S510, this will give significant shot count gain over using the standard full length spring. Shortening the standard spring requires specialist tools to do correctly.
FAC Hammer, Hammer Spring & 3.8mm Drill Bit
Replacement parts for the whole hammer assembly, if you are upgrading the power on your rifle these HP parts can be used and the ports drilled out for more flow to reach higher power.
APEX Air Arms Gauge and Quickfill
Fitting the APEX Regulator will make the original gauge read regulator pressure, this unit replaces the original QF point at the front of the cylinder to give you a fill pressure reading.
Air Arms Hammer Spring Depinger
A Depinger for the standard hammer spring to reduce any spring noise on firing.
Quality and Warranty
All parts are CNC machined in the UK from selected materials, ensuring superior quality and performance. We offer a lifetime warranty on APEX Regulator components, excluding normal wear parts such as O-ring seals and regulator sealing disks which are service parts. Damage from neglecting installation instructions or tampering is not covered so, please follow the instructions carefully.
